The Paris International Optical Exhibition was organized in 1967 and has been one of the most important optical exhibitions in Europe for more than 50 years. France is regarded as the birthplace of the modern Art Nouveau movement, the first truly modern and widely accepted international trend. This wave started in France and blew all the way around the world, laying down the aesthetics of the modern world. SILMO, which still inherits the spirit of this Art Nouveau movement, is a first-hand observatory of eyewear design and fashion.

From September 20-23, 2024, SILMO2024 International Optical Exhibition was successfully held in Villeurbanne Exhibition Center, Paris, France. It is reported that the exhibition area of this exhibition reaches 80,000 square meters, and 1,500 enterprises from 144 countries around the world gathered here to open a feast of vision. The current SLIMO International Optical Exhibition attracted nearly 200 Chinese eyewear enterprises to participate in the exhibition, among which nearly 100 industrial and trade enterprises from Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province participated in the exhibition, mainly frame enterprises; more than 20 enterprises from Danyang, Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province participated in the exhibition, among which 18 lens enterprises, 4 frame enterprises, and accessories, mirror box enterprises and so on.
